Liana

Liana has been a performer all her life. Growing up singing, dancing, and acting with Mighty Good Talent School she found her second home on the stage. It was also here that she discovered her love of hip hop music and dance.

After taking a break from dance for three years during high school, Liana found Pure Funk and joined the popular Kpop class. Since then, she has worked hard to become a talented hip hop dancer and became part of Pure Funk’s Tektonix crew in 2016. She has since graduated to Pure Funk's Performance Team since 2019.

Her Heels dance journey began midway through 2018 when she assisted in choreographing a heels piece for Tektonix that the group performed at Hip Hop International Finals in Adelaide. Since then, she has learnt from and studied the Heels technique of Yanis Marshall, Cisco Ruelas, Aliya Janell, David Slaney and Gerard Pigg.

Liana is currently teaching Heels class and taking on studio administrative duties. Make sure you come say hi to her when you see her behind the desk!
