Founded by Kirsten Burt in 2004, Pure Funk Dance is known as Adelaide's dance community that aims to encourage, inspire and create. now led by Kirsten and co‑director Edmund (Eddie) Chau, the studio celebrates over 20 years of pure funk dance..

just like other dance studios, pure funk dance runs regular classes every week night + Saturday afternoons. On occassion, we host guest workshops, masterclasses, concerts, community events, school programs and more.

 

our choreographers are experienced in teaching and performance from a wide variety of styles; from choreography classes in hiphop and rnb, street jazz, K‑pop, commercial, contemporary, heels, you name it.

we also offer private lessons, first-dance wedding lessons, hens routines, birthday workshops and live event performances.
